Place of Hope

Place of Hope is a unique faith-based, state-licensed child welfare organization providing family-style foster care (emergency and long-term); family outreach and intervention; transitional housing and support services; adoption and foster care recruitment and support; hope and healing opportunities for children and families who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect throughout the south Florida region.

Through a family-model approach, they are dedicated to providing stable, loving. and nurturing environments. They strive to foster and support healthy and productive lives, free of fear, endangerment, and most of all abuse. Children and families can find dignity, guidance, and hope through various programs and efforts at Place of Hope – Placing Hope in a Child’s Future.

As the words from Isaiah 1:17 –“Learn to do good, seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the fatherless”– Place of Hope serves hurting children in Palm Beach County. The vision for Place of Hope was from Christ Fellowship’s Founding Pastor Tom and Donna Mullins in 1993 following a visit to Russian and Romanian orphanages. There, they witnessed firsthand the overwhelming plight of suffering children. But they also saw the remarkable difference that was made by ordinary people who decided to manifest God’s love through action. Pastor Tom and Donna took on the burden and the Place of Hope was opened in 2001.
